Weekly Talking Points - Investors try to look beyond rate hikes

Our round-up of what to expect in the coming week and the key events of last week. The regular Spotlight feature looks at the US January employment report. The 517K nonfarm payrolls figure was strong, as was the dip in the unemployment rate to 3.4%. The market may be hoping that the Fed focuses on average hourly earnings which moderated a smidgen, or that the changes that the Bureau of Labor Statistics made somehow was out over the coming months.
